I had a pretty good day... :) Woke up early again (getting used to this woohoo) and made my way to Lucky Plaza for my dental appointment. I was almost on time! hahaa. and Dr Ong broke the good news - I can take my braces off next month as long as those two stubborn gaps remain closed!! :DD so excited hahaha.. though I'll miss my braces a wee bit :D braces will come off before special day so we can look nice together in a photo hahaha :D

Walked over to ION to buy some bread from Provence.. And had a really nice chat with Daryl on the way there. Looking forward to the end of FOC for several reasons.. and one of them is so more of my time will be freed up for you. :) Tried a few new breads today.. a mysterious looking round shaped bread with sugar chunks on top, and a green bread which looked similar to melon-pan apart from its colour. The moment I bit into the first bread I was blown away.. YUMMY. chewy and cheeseeeyyy.. As I walked along the not-yet-crowded orchard road in my high spirits, with the sun holding back and the wind blowing lightly, I couldn't help but think to myself - life is so beautiful. So awesome. There's so much to love about it. The bread made me feel even happier as I made my way to SPP adoration room. Hopped on the first bus that came and hoped that it would bring me to where I wanted to go.. but 143 turned before it got to Dhoby Ghaut. It brought me to Church of the Sacred Heart and I decided to get off and go in. Quite appropriate, too.. since yesterday was the solemnity of the most Sacred Heart of Jesus :)

The church was beautiful as always, and I made my way to the front to be with Jesus. Spent some wonderful time with Him.. Found myself tearing a bit at several points, and this led me to think of my spiritual journey since January last year.. I'm just filled with so much gratitude. It so happened that a group of people were practising for a wedding, and they played several beautiful songs, which I sang along to..

You alone are my strength, my shield
To You alone may my spirit yield
You alone are my heart's desire and I long to worship You

Reading an email which Dom sent about the anatomy of conversion also really moved me.. Gosh I love my life and the work I'm doing. Life is beautifullll.

Alrighty. Time to complete some work and make the most of this rare weekend to myself.. :)
