wow it's the 2nd of may again, but i don't feel that much different... except that i'm filled with a bursting joy because i'm so blessed to have people who love me! haha!

started out as a relatively ordinary day.. i woke up early to reply the smses from sweet friends (thank you, all of you sweeties who made an effort to message me or wish me online.. every single one of those messages was replied with a broad smile on my face!! :DDD), and played nancy drew with my sister again. :D was left alone at home for a couple of hours cos my sis went out for violin class, but she came back and gave me my FIRST bouquet of flowers hahahha!! yayyy for mer. you've the honour of being the first to wish me and the first to give me flowers, ever! hahaha! pretty roses that smell just like any other flower to my untrained nose! :D

we continued playing the game and then paused cos i had to take a call from cheryl (whom i've just been thinking about recently! so sweet of her to call), and mer picked up a call that'd been directed to my house phone at almost the same time. she left me to meet her dear boyfriend downstairs (apparently), conveniently ignoring my whining... and then all of a sudden four of my dearest friends were standing at my door with a pulut hitam ice cream "cake" to surprise me! OH GOSH everything happened so fast and i was in such a fluster but I WAS SO HAPPY HAHAAHA!! THANK YOU GUYS!!! jem, des, cheryl and nico!!! <3 hahahaha!! i couldn't think properly and for my birthday wish i could only come up with "i wish that i'll always have such wonderful friends!" it was like a dream!! HAHAHA! :D

i received a super-nice bumblebee (yellow and black!!) badminton racket from these four awesome people, and another four awesomes: von, mich, james teo and eugene channnnnn (who was telling me to enjoy swishing on facebook. i had no clue! hahahaha :DDD)!!!! THANK YOUUUU so much guys for putting in effort into this even though it's in the midst of the exams! you guys really, really rock :DDD AHHH now i can't wait to play badminton again heeheee!! :DDD

we all sat around in the living room for a while and enjoyed the ice-cream, played with fire, hugged cold pillows, and took super stupid photos of each other HAHA (nico's camera goes "snap snap snap snap snap snap snap" real quickly. HAHA!). oh gosh it was such good fun, and i seriously had a fantastic time :DD i'm so looking forward to the holidays for more!! :D

after that cozy gathering, my parents came home (even they were in the know! heee :D) with a surprise birthday card from fidelia (!! THANKS FIFI!! :DDDD), and a nice new comfy pair of shoes for me.. :D hugs hugs hugs and after a few more hours of nancy drew (yeah it's what i've been doing with most of my time lately), we all went out for a nice dinner at New Garo! i really really love my family so much, can't imagine life without them :D:D:D

i'm so, so thankful for all the love i've been showered with on my special day. really couldn't ask for anything more... :DDDDDDD!!
