haha yay.. yesterday was a pretty good day for me ;D

cleared up my humongous stack of worksheets from JC life.. couldn't bear to throw away a large part of it haha. realised how much i miss studying.. and that i shouldn't be so ashamed of my school haha. so i suppose from now on if you ask where i'm from i'll tell you i'm from YJ, albeit in an embarrassed fashion.
hmm.. i kinda miss 201! haha. will be meeting up with white sheep for a cup of starbucks before we meet the rest of the class outside YJ! today we'll be having a class gathering at miss ong's place! haha. hopefully she'll invite mr tai along too.. since they're good friends.. hope he's doing ok :( he already retired this year..

speaking of YJ.. dreamt of results yesterday.. it was qt vivid haha. i got As for everything except math! expected myself to be a tad disappointed in the dream but oddly i was kinda happy haha! scary!! aw!

i finally got a new phone yesterday hee!! it's pretty pearly white.. a sony w580i!! so happy haha. it's a music&fitness phone.. so cool la it can record my progress if i run, count the no of steps i take, tell me how many calories i burn haha. and it can store over a hundred songs all right!! half of the 100's made up by super junior and jay chou but it's still v good by my standards hehe. though all you rich people out there will think it's qt pathetic, i feel that the w580i's my soulmate of a phone!! hee!!

oh yeah. when i was in the carpark about to walk to IMM to get the new phone this woman from the CPF building gave me a call and said she wanted to interview me over the phone.. man i was kinda taken aback cos it was so unexpected. although recruit express did give me a call just that morning to tell me that they were sending in my resume for an available customer service job at some government body. didn't hear properly cos i just woke up (12 plus. hahaa). so the lady over the phone asked me to talk about my job experience.. i told her about it but realised after a long pause that i had spoken too little ahaha. it's the kind of feeling you get when u're having an oral exam and the examiner waits in awkward silence haha!! aw.

after i got home ariel from recruit express called and said i got shortlisted for the job!!!! bet you weren't expecting me to get it. i wasn't either.. HAHA. but i was really happy! and went right down to raffles place to sign the contract hehe!! it's 6per hour and my mum and dad were both saying how not worth it was but i was too excited haha. working in central business district! the feeling is so exhilarating ahaha!! i have a direct bus too, 75! yeah! and i also just got a new excuse to shop for new clothes hehe. the only two downsides are having to wake up at 6 every morning and no more allowance officially. haha! until uni starts of course. exciting!!!! though this will have nothing to do with econs at all i think it'll look good to have worked for a government body before :D starting on tues!! (ellen says it's one stop away from her workplace! and hong seng, yeow hwee and took yeow are just around the corner at fullerton hotel! so i can go look for these lunch khakis once in a while! everything's so great!!)

haha. feeling happy! though both eyelids were twitching qt vigorously ytd (unlucky eye significantly more than lucky eye :( ) i'm hoping that today will be a good day too haha!

oops haha after browsing back to those old entries i'm feeling kinda freaked out by myself and have decided to blog again so that the overall mood will be better hahaha.

lala. someone watch super junior EHB on youtube with me! it's really super funny hahaha. addictive. if you have nothing to do just give it a try haha.. got me liking super junior (a korean band) alot haha!

i shall start trying to learn korean so that i can understand what they're singing about and more importantly if one day they come over to singapore i'll be able to talk to them! especially yesung HAHA

took the actual test in j1 cos it was free (it's the kinda test u have to pay for.. myer-briggs type indicator - MBTI. the only personality test that's recognised!) and i got the same result when i took this test so i suppose it's pretty accurate hehe.

sigh! i failed to come up with a new blogskin. haha.. it's been so long since i've played around with html and now blogger's template is so difficult to edit! aw. so i guess i have to stick with orangey!

wow read my previous entries.. oh man.. glad the two years of jc life are over hehe.

actually feeling kinda down today too but i shall update this poor dying blog..

in december i went to work at daddy's mini, comfy, air-conditioned factory as an operator! yingqing, ellen, jingyi came along to work together with me.. it was pretty fun doing the packing with yq ahaha. she'd make an effort to change her household duties just so she could come to pack with me hahaha! while jy and ellen cut the tubing. after a few days sf joyce joined us too haha! we didn't keep in touch during the hectic jc days and she blames it on me (haha!) but it was nice to have time to catch up with each other. we worked for about a week or two together before yq and co stopped working.. christmas was just round the corner and yq and jy were gonna get jobs teaching in primary schools! chij our lady of the nativity. my first primary school!

after that joyce stayed on to work with me for a few more days until we got "dismissed" hahaha.. cos they weren't in need of temp workers anymore! i'll miss the old ice cream man! we used to go to buy ice creams from him everytime we see him around. hahaha. and we were his lucky charms too! once we bought the ice creams and he told us how bad his business was.. haha and after that we ate our ice creams while looking at him from upstairs and at least 10 other people went to patronise the stall! hehe. spreading our good luck :D after we lost our jobs we decided to try to get teaching jobs too since we were both hooked onto audition and just stayed at home all day to play it hahaha. teddygranger and saccharine! (stop trying to send me kisses when i'm offline!! hahahaha)

silly me. at around decemeber i had this super random dream about an old neighbour i used to play basketball very often with.. i dreamt that i was with joyce and we walked to a basketball court and watched some people play.. i realised that one of them looked alot like him. suddenly fast forward and we were in a hawker centre sitting with him and jonathan (my classmate. random too!) and when i looked closely i realised that it wasn't my neighbour after all.. i turned to joyce and told her that i was sad. haha.. and i really was.. woke up at 7 plus after the dream.. waking up before noon when i don't have to is such a rarity for me ahaha.

so after that weird dream i kinda thought back to the times when we played basketball together so often! really missed those guys and then i happened to meet bryan when we were walking home! haha we chatted for awhile online and dragged jonathan (neighbour) into the conversation and i attempted to arrange for a basketball session the next day! jonny would ask gerald along too. but then it rained :( was really quite devastated haha cos i was imagining in my mind how great it would be to see everyone and be able to play together again.. i have this really bad habit of hoping for too much i guess. haha. as my sis and joyce would tell me over and over again.

two months later when my relatives were over for chinese new year we were playing blackjack and i was losing money at an alarming rate hahaha. so i decided to go downstairs to play basketball! yay. and met guang! was really happy haha he still hasn't changed after so long. though i didn't exactly recognise him at first. he looks different. better now! monkeying around with that silly grin haha. it was so fun to hang out with him ahaha! chatted for awhile and got made fun of quite abit haha! but he said it would be one of the last times he'd be going down! aw. invited him to join my class and me on tues when they come over for the basketball marathon haha. and when gerald came down later he asked him along too haha! they were both saying how it was like a reunion haha.. so cute! a large group of kids invaded the court haha and our basketballs were surrendered to them for some time.. they played while we slacked and guang caught up with gerald abit. but soon after that he had to go home! sat down with gerald to chat for a little while.. it was nice too haha i think i've never spoken so much to him in all the years we played together actually..! but then he got up and went for a swim haha. but still.. i consider it incredible luck to meet them both on the same day like that haha. it's quite amazing how things won't turn out how u want them to but will surprise you with unexpected occurances like these haha.. and just when i was really kinda expecting them to come along on tues they didn't! :((( once again joyce and mer's advice ring true in my ears..

haha looking forward to uni life anyw. i think. more or less decided on furthering econs rather than chem.. hmm.. hopefully i get a decent grade for it come late feb! but right now feeling abit pessimistic. must be today's mood haha. all the nightmares about A level results.. aww..

hmm. i had so much to say when i started blogging but kinda blank right now! shall try to continue updating regularly while i still can. hee.
